After a 12-hour delay, pairings are out for the first foursomes session at the Walker Cup. With a stomach bug sweeping both teams – making some players’ status in the matches uncertain – officials bought themselves a little time by delaying the release of pairings to Saturday morning.


Both teams have dipped into their pool of two alternates, with the U.S. bringing in Mac Meissner to pair with Ricky Castillo in the second match out and Great Britain and Ireland using Jake Bolton in the final match.

 Manchester United made Manchester City wait a little longer to win the Premier League title following a comeback 3-1 win at Aston Villa. Needing a win to keep the title race alive, United fell behind against Dean Smith's men but roared back to remain unbeaten in the league this season and cement their status as the second best in the league this term. Bertrand Traore put Villa ahead on 24 minutes with a fine opener before Bruno Fernandes equalised just after the break from the penalty spot. Mason Greenwood slammed home soon after to put United ahead before substitute Edinson Cavani made the game safe on 88 minutes. Ollie Watkins then saw red for the home side after picking up a second booking for diving in the penalty area. VENOM 2

    The first Venom film is sort of an oddity when it comes to reception with critics bashing it for a lack of focus (among other things), but audiences scoring it quite highly. There is usually some discrepancy in ratings but it’s not often you see a 51% difference in critical and audience scores. Despite this, it still turned out to be one of the biggest box office surprises of the year, raking in nearly $900 million on a relatively small budget of $100 million. Venom: Let There Be Carnage picks up where the last film left off and fans are excited for the big screen debut of a classic favourite: Carnage. The film will see Tom Hardy return to the titular role with other stars including Woody Harrelson, Stephen Graham, and Naomie Harris. In another (welcome) surprise, J. K.
