 Phoenix’s first round opponent is unknown right now. If they maintain the second seed or catch Utah to finish the regular season atop the Western Conference, the Suns will face one of four teams out of the play-in tournament. The seven through 10 seeds will settle the play-in May 18-21.  Golden State is currently an eighth seed.

Football players, track athletes, and the media were all impressed with the Seahawks wide receiver's speed, and courage, displayed on Sunday. Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf tested his speed against some of the fastest track athletes the country has to offer on Sunday during the USA Track and Field Golden Games. Metcalf finished with a time of 10.36 seconds, good for ninth in his heat. A sub-10.05 second 100-meter dash would have automatically qualified Metcalf for next month's Olympic Trials. Still, he held his own and the time was impressive for any athlete, let alone one with a build of 6'4" and 235 pounds.

 Medina Spirit, the horse that won the Kentucky Derby earlier this month, has failed a drug test. It is the latest of a long line of drug test failures by trainer Bob Baffert's horses. Baffert, who had celebrated a record seventh Derby victory, disclosed the positive test at a press conference Sunday at the Churchill Downs racetrack in Louisville, Ky. He denied any wrongdoing and indicated that the horse had never knowingly been treated with betamethasone, the steroid for which it tested positive. "I got the biggest gut-punch in racing, for something I didn't do," Baffert said. If Medina Spirit fails a second test on a second sample, also collected at the time of the race, the horse will be disqualified from the Derby and its $1.86 million in winnings forfeited. Baffert will have a chance to appeal the case, which could take months to adjudicate.  Madrid, May 9 (EFE).- Real Madrid squandered an opportunity on Sunday to move into a tie on points with crosstown rivals Atletico Madrid, who sit stop the La Liga table, but they did manage to salvage a 2-2 draw in extra time against Sevilla. Atletico and Barcelona had battled to a scoreless draw at Camp Nou on Saturday, thus providing Real Madrid with a chance to pull even with the league leaders but Sevilla got on the board first at Alfredo di Stefano stadium on a tally by Fernando in the 22nd minute. The match was played to empty stands due to coronavirus gathering restrictions. With Sevilla having scored the only goal by the break, Marco Asensio managed to bring Real level in the 67th minute. Midfielder Ivan Rakitic got Sevilla out in front once again in the 78th minute on the penalty kick, and then Toni Kroos had his shot on goal deflected off Eden Hazard’s foot four minutes into stoppage time with the ball finding the twine for the draw.  Manchester United made Manchester City wait a little longer to win the Premier League title following a comeback 3-1 win at Aston Villa. Needing a win to keep the title race alive, United fell behind against Dean Smith's men but roared back to remain unbeaten in the league this season and cement their status as the second best in the league this term. Bertrand Traore put Villa ahead on 24 minutes with a fine opener before Bruno Fernandes equalised just after the break from the penalty spot. Mason Greenwood slammed home soon after to put United ahead before substitute Edinson Cavani made the game safe on 88 minutes. Ollie Watkins then saw red for the home side after picking up a second booking for diving in the penalty area.
